Sarnac, The Destroyer!, and kids. I don't know him at all, but a name like Sarnac needs a descriptor like "The Destroyer" or even "The Burninator". Also from the LegioDraconis.com site, a future king, well a baby anyway.

I made a quick little image from a Natural Selection screen shot. In front is the human marine, in this case, Grimm. Directly behind him is the biggest form the alien side has, an Onos. Back left is a Fade, and coming out of the vent and very hard to see is the smallest alien, a Skulk. below
From my mom, Despair.com purveyour of De-motivational posters.
From Jeremy, my friend in West Hurley, Questions put to fictional gurus. It's quite silly. Thanks Jer!
Wicca: For the Rest of Us has this page about dispelling the "Fluffy Bunny" side of Wicca. They have some wonderful fact checks.
"Wicca in no way dictates that you must dress as a goth."
"We, as Wiccans, are not followers of an Old Religion, or even an Olde Religion."
(my favorite) "And on a final historical note, stop talking about those poor witches burned at Salem. No one was burned at Salem. One was pressed to death; the rest were hung."

I'm getting tired of my DSL line being flaky. It's better since I replaced my wires but I still lose speed and connectivity from time to time for no reason. Nothing like paying twice dial-up cost to get flat dial-up speed.
The old "Planet of the Apes" is much, much better then the new one. Heston was more interesting. The apes were more human which made their barbaric/civilized society all the more disturbing.
If you haven't seen "Gangs of New York", don't. It contains gratuitous squared (G^2) violence and blood. The climax was usurped by a riot in the city. It just had no point.

I started a second role playing group. This one in the Albany area. We'll be playing Battlelords of the 23rd Century. It's a little silly and a little serious future.

AuthenticHistory.com has history through primary sources. Without comment. I've been enjoying the Miss Lace comics.
The Washington Post reports on a study which found that American's have drastically different beliefes about the facts of the war in Iraq. Fox = Bad, NPR = Good.

The reason my DSL service was flakey was the poor quality of cable and splitters that I'd used to hook up the modem. Wasn't Verizon's fault at all. Thanks for the help Emanual!

I hate Verizon again. I've been losing internet connectivity at random intervals for a few days. It always makes me so relaxed when systems I'm using suddenly fail without explaination.

I fixed my photo gallery. Apparently the software was updated when I did my biggest apt-get ever. (apt-get is the program that this version of Linux uses to automagically update or install software. I recently let it get the newest version of 200 someodd pieces of software. I only had to back one of them out: console-common.)

Jenny and I went for a drive this Saturday. We ended up near Lock 16 of the Erie Canal. I think that the big structure is just a dam and that the actual lock is the "small" area in the other pictures. below
